The sailor's loved-one is waving goodbye on a rock with her scarf flying in the wind. As she waves goodbye the motifs around the china show the sailor's adventures on the high seas both above and below the waterline. The delicate pale blue linen finish is discernible on the table ware with a stronger blue and gold line around the rim. The Sailor's Farewell Serving Bowl 10.2" shows the full motif of this magical story along the middle of the ornate serving piece. Beautifully presented in Wedgwood's signature blue gift box, each piece is made in England, crafted in fine bone china and finished with 22 karat gold.
